Two more Monserrate pics

Because it shows more clearly - God's BIG picture,

And His creation of little children...

Christmas in Torre Fuerte

Our gifts are fit for the lifestyles of the not-so-rich-and famous... but they're EXACTLY what we want and need!

Oh, by the way, the purpose of the car is more to cover the window than to decorate - but guess who thinks it's great? (carrrrro!!!)Crepes! Jugo! Arequipe! Helado! Pollo y broccoli (OK, maybe the last doesn't sound as good as the first, but it made the Christmas dinner perfect).

Monserrate

That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. (Phil. 2: 10-11)

Wow, Lord, that's a lot of knees- and how many now are bowed in front of you?

This is Monserrate, the historic Catholic church at the top of a mountain about 1000 feet above most of the city.

Look at the houses of 8 1/2 million people and tell me you don't realize how insignificant you are in this big world.

Lord, what is man, that thou takest knowledge of him! or the son of man, that thou makest account of him! (Ps. 144:3)

Christmas at the Other Way

The gifts are from Jesus for

Families

Food and Fun

That ALL might know what it is to have fellowship with the Father....

Pictures from the Past... 2 months.

More pics of life to come soon. All the big group pictures are from the outing for the English speakers. All these people - only four Americans.

:-)

It's a big, big world! Anyway, we went to a "farm" north of Bogota. Check out the view!!! And in case you were wondering why we like to work with kids, maybe this will help?

As for the other pictures, can you guess who is generally the center of attention in Torre Fuerte?

And on the "Dia de Accion de Gracias" (our Colombian name for Thanksgiving - the holiday which only the Americans celebrate!), we want to say "YOU - remember that God is the source of every good and perfect gift!"

A few more pictures of my house and my life... Notice the walls downstairs and the fact that there is a ball flying through the air. It's a wonderful place to play! And as for my room, I'm glad laundry day is only once a week, because they hang for almost 4 days like this before I can put it away!

This is your life/ Are you who you want to be?

This is your life... Is it everything you dreamed that it would be?

And when God asks me, I must say - and more!
